Soviet and Russian singer Alexander Gradsky was born in 1949 in Kopeisk, and by the end of the 50s he moved to Moscow with his family. After graduating from the Academy of Music and entering the Moscow Conservatory, he created his own rock band - the third in a row in the USSR.

Gradsky now lives in an apartment on M. Ulyanova Street, but he is no less often in housing on Mosfilmovskaya Street, has his own Gradsky Hall theater, as well as other real estate.
Apartments of Alexander Gradsky
Initially, housing on Mosfilmovskaya was acquired for work: in 2014, Alexander Gradsky had a son from his common-law wife Marina Kotashenko, and it became problematic to make music in the family "nest". But in the process of repairing the apartment, a cozy corner for relaxation was arranged, and the housing began to resemble ordinary. For decoration Gradsky turned to the designers of the TV show about the repair. With their light hand, a project was born with an unusual zoning of the kitchen-living room.
Design
After a complete redevelopment, a large kitchen-living room was organized in Gradsky’s apartment, divided into three parts:
- the kitchen itself (work area);
- dining room (lunch group);
- rest zone.
The whole interior of the dwelling turned out to be very bright, so the room looks more spacious. The classic style here combines with modern and minimalism. The room has three large windows, so it is well lit. Gradsky specifically asked designers not to use dark drapes, so as not to reduce the amount of sunlight.
to contents ↑The owner’s wish was taken into account: the windows in the apartment are decorated with light white tulle and weightless light-beige curtains. In addition, through panoramic openings, a beautiful view of the city landscape opens up, which sets in a positive mood at work.
Decoration Materials
During the repair in the apartment near Gradsky, various types of finishes were applied, including rather unusual ones. For example, pink marble tiles with thin veins (slabs) were selected for the floor and some walls. When laying the slabs, a special pattern was formed that preserves the natural appearance of the stone. Black granite slabs adorned the work apron in the kitchen, countertop, and also the floor of the kitchen set. These plates are larger, very durable, because for their fastening a particularly strong glue was needed.
to contents ↑In the dining room and recreation area, a natural parquet board made of several layers glued together was used as a floor covering. The board is laid in a special way, and the individual lamellas are connected by a lock method. The joints between the stone and the tree decorated with beautiful sills. On the ceiling in the apartment a white cloth is applied, which can be painted in the future.
Furniture in Gradsky’s apartment
The base of the kitchen is made of MDF, and the external facades of carved oak are milky.The set itself has an impressive length (6 meters), the size of the countertop is 4 meters. Since the upper part of the headset is represented by mezzanines and a large cornice, the height of the kit also turned out to be quite large. In order to make the furniture look old, in addition to openwork milling, artificial facings are made on the facades.
The central part of the kitchen is occupied by a large pedestal, which can be used as a work surface or table. It separates the makeshift dining room from the living room and can also serve as a bar. In the dining area there is a rectangular oak table with a granite surface, which weighs more than 150 kg. The relaxation area is represented by a soft sofa with several pillows, a huge TV and a home theater.
Decor
Alexander Gradsky is a great connoisseur of antique gizmos. His apartment for permanent residence is furnished with antique furniture, but retro-design did not fit into the design of the apartments on Mosfilmovskaya. Nevertheless, the owner chose a large chandelier, made in the floral style, which resembles old theater lights.
The apartment is decorated with green plants in wicker pots, orchids in huge floor vases, black ceramic dishes, candlesticks made of glass and clay, fruit stands.

In addition to buying apartments, Alexander Gradsky built a large mansion in the suburbs, 35 km from Moscow on the Kiev highway. There is a modern elite village Novoglagolevo, which is very popular with representatives of show business. The construction of houses here is ongoing, so the village continues to expand.
Cottage in Novoglagolevo with an area of 400 square meters is located on a plot of 35 acres. This is a beautiful building with large balconies, columns, stucco facade. Near the house there is a gazebo where you can relax, there are walkways and lots of greenery. Now Gradsky and his wife Marina often spend time here: they recently had another son, and the children need fresh air. Perhaps soon the couple will completely move out of town, where it is comfortable to live, relax and receive friends as guests.
