Dmitry Kharatyan - what Russian audience does not know this name? The actor, who played many roles in the theater and cinema, literally became the face of the film about midshipmen and performed the original song. Dmitry is in love with his profession and captivated by music, but in his heart he is a caring, kind and loving family man who prefers to spend time with his wife Marina Mayko and his son Ivan.
Not so long ago, the Runet network got pictures in which Dmitry and his small but friendly family pose against the backdrop of a luxurious suburban mansion. Social networks immediately became full of disputes about a luxurious estate, because we considered it necessary to tell more about this building.
Country House Dmitry Kharatyan
This nice two-story cottage is located on a small plot in the village of Buzharovo, located in the Istra district. It’s not without reason that Kharatyan chose this land in the Moscow Region, because it is here that the famous Istra Reservoir with stunningly fresh air and picturesque views is located.
Dmitry admitted in an interview with reporters that he had long dreamed of a house in which a real Russian fairy tale would be felt:
- evergreen needles, inspiring fond memories of the New Year;
- snowdrifts knee-deep, creaking pleasantly underfoot;
- fresh air, without urban smog;
- silence and peace inherent in the countryside.
Barely looking at this house, we can safely say that creative designers worked on it. This is true. Kharatyan turned to the EXPO design bureau, and specialists developed a project specifically for him, taking into account all the preferences:
- more open space inside;
- simplicity and conciseness from the outside;
- only natural materials.

House exterior design
The exterior is similar to a French chalet: a small house made in a rural style. It has only 2 floors, but, according to Dmitry, this is more than enough for his family. Externally, the Kharatyan country cottage can be described as follows:
- simple forms;
- perfect geometric proportions;
- strict decoration in a modern style;
- concise colors and transitions.
For the facade, the designers used a light brown mottled stone and dark wood - a winning contrasting combination. The masonry creates a special pattern. Original touches add wooden railings on the open balcony of the second floor and large windows.
Warm colors give the house a special cosiness. The building looks nice on a snowy landscape. Specially for the summer holiday, Dmitry set up a barbecue area, a huge three-meter umbrella and wicker furniture made of artificial rattan. If it suddenly starts to get colder, you can cover yourself with rugs and lie down on soft pillows while continuing to enjoy a peaceful, quiet rest in the circle of your closest ones.
The greenery around the plot gives a special luxury. Since the weather in Istra district is rather severe, Dmitry chose conifers for landscaping. So they delight the eye, even with heavy snowfall, giving aesthetic pleasure.

It is also dominated by warm colors. Designers used wood and stone for decoration. Special cosiness of the house is given by:
- upholstered furniture made of dark brown leather;
- a huge aquarium, built right into the wall and filling the space with a sense of spaciousness;
- wooden shelving with books.
The walls in the house are decorated with numerous Dmitry awards, as well as photographs with famous personalities. Pictures are located next to the original spiral staircase leading to the second floor.
To make the living room more comfortable, Kharatyan ordered to install a fireplace. You can admire the picturesque nature through panoramic windows.
Open space is the highlight of the interior of the Kharatyan country house. The living room flows into the dining room and kitchen. A minimum of walls creates a feeling of comfort, filling the room with air and helping to relax fully. The interior is originally complemented by lamps and potted flowers.
The music room is Dmitry’s pride, because here he can devote time to his passion - music. Son Ivan very often makes him company, accompanying on a guitar and a drum kit.
As a business man, Dmitry equipped himself with a study, made in warm colors. Natural materials are ideal for decorating the room. Here you can also find a large number of photographs telling about the career of Kharatyan and the most significant moments of the family.
