Igor Vernik is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, an actor of theater and cinema, a radio and television presenter who does not leave the screens and enjoys great popularity among the audience.
The artist owns an apartment in Moscow, but his old dream was to get a country house in which he could hide from the hustle and bustle of the city. Igor’s dream came true - he built a three-story mansion outside the city, which he plans to move to after finishing all construction and finishing works.
Personal life
Igor met his future wife Maria in a store. For a long time he did not dare to approach an attractive girl, but still did not miss his chance. In 2000, they were married, the son of Gregory was born. However, the marriage did not last long, and in 2009 the couple broke up.
Igor has a twin brother, Vadim, who is the editor-in-chief of an entertainment magazine about the life of show business stars, a television and radio host. The elder brother Rostislav connected his life with the theater.

They got acquainted with the offer and purchased housing here on different floors: Igor - on the 8th, Vadim - on the 10th. Brothers often go to visit each other due to their close proximity. The son of film actor Grisha often stops here, who happily spends a lot of time with his father, he is allocated a separate room.

The room is spacious, bright and stylish. The apartment is designed in a minimalist style, it is more characteristic of the masculine spirit, but in the housing there are no rough details and cold tones.
The living room is spacious and bright. It is not divided into several zones that differ in their functionality. In one part of the room there is a relaxation space with upholstered furniture, a large TV and a game console, in the other there is a black piano for playing music. There is no significant contrast between the zones; they gradually flow into each other. There are no extra doors, corners and areas covered from prying eyes.
Textiles reign in the apartment - heavy blackout curtains match the windows of light cream walls and ceiling. Lamps, sconces and other lighting fixtures, furniture upholstery are designed in the same color. Potted plants, country-style rugs and acoustics contrast with the light walls.

Igor Wernick hatched the idea of acquiring a country house for many years. When the future artist was small, his family rented a summer house in Saltykovka every summer. With this time, Igor has a lot of fond memories. Living in Moscow, the showman more and more often thought about moving to nature away from city skyscrapers, gassed air and bustle. The dream was destined to come true - he bought a plot in the village of Pavlovo on Novorizhskoye Highway and started building the mansion.
The construction did not immediately enter the active stage; several times the work completely stopped at all. Finally, the owner moved to a new home, but after a while he realized that there were a lot of shortcomings in him that were definitely worth fixing. Construction and repair work is still ongoing. Igor hopes that all his wishes will be taken into account, and he will soon be able to finally move to fresh air.
The artist pays great attention to the construction and decoration of the house. For him, even the smallest details are important - texture, light, furniture. At all stages from design to project implementation, Igor was helped by her famous designer Albina Nazimova with her advice. They met back in school years and are currently close friends supporting each other in all endeavors. Albina was also involved in arranging Wernick’s apartment on Krasnaya Presnya.
On a professional basis, Igor collaborates with a design bureau. The architect Irina, who previously worked for Nazimova, gave the showman's house a lot of time and effort in order to take into account all his comments and wishes. They meet periodically to discuss the details and improve the existing project.
In the interior of the house where Igor Vernik lives, preference is given to calm, minimalism and comfort. The color palette is restrained and light. At the same time it is impossible to attribute the premises to any style. This is not a classic or modern, but there is no pomp in the housing.
The house has a lot of paintings. Igor loves painting and photography, therefore, with pleasure he acquires paintings by impressionists and other artists who improve their mood.
Wernick travels a lot and brings interesting gizmos from trips to his new mansion. He visits flea markets in Germany, France and other countries, where he acquires unusual items, guided by his attitude and taste, rather than secular fashion.
Igor considers the large round textured table, which was placed in the dining area, to be his favorite item in the house. A wooden piece of furniture gives a feeling of warmth and strength, creates the right mood for the entire room.
The dining room used to be connected to the kitchen. However, soon the landlord realized that he felt uncomfortable during a get-together with friends in the presence of a housekeeper or cook. For this reason, it was decided to divide the space into zones.
Igor Vernik’s house is full of things brought from different countries in which he visits. This is a French, Italian and Israeli chandelier, a collection of dummies (it all started with a teapot donated by Igor comrade) from different continents.
Wernick believes that the interior of a country house should radically differ from the design of the apartment and be vibrant, airy, atmospheric. To do this, it is not necessary to buy exclusively wooden objects and decorate the premises, a few interesting accents are enough.
For example, in the bedroom on the 3rd floor, the ceiling beams were preserved, they were slightly painted and left unchanged.
A private cottage in the village of Pavlovo costs at least 50 million rubles.
Igor Vernik had long nurtured the idea of buying a private house, but he did not manage to realize his ideas right away. The artist owns not only a mansion in a suburban village, but also an apartment in the center of Moscow. The showman is waiting for the repair to be completed and wants to quickly move to his dream home.

Igor Wernick is a great artist .... there would be more of them and Hollywood would move to Mosfilm ....
