Actor Boris Shcherbakov in his life played in more than 180 films. Nevertheless, he never had huge fees, and from birth and all his youth he generally lived in a communal apartment. Now Shcherbakov continues to act, despite his considerable age, and lives in a country house, and also owns an apartment.

Shcherbakova communal on Vasilyevsky Island

Boris Shcherbakov was born in Leningrad in 1949. His parents were not rich people (father is a driver, mother worked at the factory), so the family lived for a long time in a communal apartment of 16 square meters. Housing on Opochinin Street on Vasilievsky Island became home until admission to the institute. The only plus of the apartment was a beautiful view of the Gulf of Finland, where many ships passed daily, and the boy sincerely dreamed of becoming a captain.

Boris Shcherbakov could finally decide on a profession by the age of 12. He took part in the film "Mandate", receiving substantial money - about 500 rubles. Having perfectly played his role, Shcherbakov decided not to stop there. After enrolling in the directing department of the Institute of Culture. Krupskaya, he studied for only a year and transferred to Moscow, at the Moscow Art Theater, but already to study in the acting profile. During this period, Shcherbakov began to rent housing, and only after the wedding with Tatyana Bronzova and the birth of his son did he get his own apartment.

The couple had long dreamed of their own cottage, and back in 2001 they acquired a plot of land near Lake Krugloye in the Dmitrovsky district of Moscow Region. To fulfill their hopes 100%, the actors themselves took up the development of the project, thinking through everything to the smallest detail. The area of ​​the Shcherbakovs is 60 acres, and getting here from the city for very short time is about 40 minutes. There is a forest around, so the ecological situation remains excellent.

Boris Shcherbakov is an adherent of everything that was originally Russian, he loves rural silence and peace. During the construction, it was immediately decided to erect a chopped log hut from a tree - whole pine. The blockhouse was ordered in Petrozavodsk on an individual project, and Tatyana Shcherbakova herself drew a sketch for it.

Features of the house and manor

The country house of Boris and Tatyana Shcherbakovs differs sharply from the cottages of their neighbors - as if it had come down from the pages of a Russian fairy tale. A unique feature of the building is the assembly without nails, as with the designer, carried out by tightly fitting the logs to each other. The wiring was hidden in special drilled gutters inside the logs, so it remained completely invisible. To prevent the building from slanting over time, several spacer screws were introduced into it in areas specially designed for this purpose.

A large terrace and a glazed gazebo are attached to the Shcherbakov mansion, where you can have fun with friends or relax in solitude. In the courtyard, it was decided to build an indoor pool and a bathhouse. Due to failures with the choice of the brigade, Shcherbakov had to wait for the completion of the work for three whole years, although even the house was built much faster. Moreover, unscrupulous builders used rotten beams, saved on insulation, so the new team had to redo everything.

After arranging the bath complex, a well and an indoor courtyard, which serves as the workshop of Boris and the garage, were equipped on the site. Oddly enough, the Shcherbakovs couple organized a museum of ancient instruments here: it has forks, axes, rakes and other devices, as well as retro signs “Drive of the Art Theater” and “Shcherbakova Street”. In the museum you can find other antiques:

Boris Shcherbakov replenishes the collection regularly, in each city, looking for antique shops and acquiring everything suitable. Most things are in working condition, because the owner loves to fix them. Boris Shcherbakov also loves to saw, plan and make other woodwork, and some of his works are quite difficult to manufacture (for example, frames for icons and paintings). For the gazebo, the actor himself made furniture, which turned out to be very effective.

Tatyana Shcherbakova maintains the yard in perfect condition. It has a lot of flower beds, there is a garden with vegetables, potatoes. In a place free from the garden, the Shcherbakov family plans to organize a lawn and establish a fruit garden.

Home interior

Inside, the layout of the cottage of Boris Scherbakov is standard. The first floor is occupied by a living room, kitchen and hallway. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a bathroom. The central building of the Shcherbakovs, the “highlight”, is the living room, which has high ceilings and occupies two floors in height. The walls themselves are decorated with logs themselves: the Shcherbakovs decided to leave them in their original form. The living room has a marble fireplace, and the windows in the room are huge, with beautiful views of the lake and forest.

In the kitchen of the Shcherbakovs and in the rest of the house, the unique atmosphere of a house from a Russian village of the 19th century reigns: everything here is designed in the same style, furnishings are made of natural wood with delicate carvings. There are handmade carpets on the floor, lace napkins on the tables. The cottage has many indoor flowers that give comfort and homely warmth. A room is also equipped for Shcherbakov’s son in a country house, but he is not often here - he prefers city life.

Tatyana and Boris Shcherbakov love Russian nature very much and always fight for its preservation. Their house was built with a commitment to everything natural and environmentally friendly, so care and cleanliness still emanate from it.
