PPG Russian plant will expand staff
The director of the plant OOO PPG INDUSTRIZ Lipetsk, Sergei Parapanov, intends to increase the composition of staff over the next three months.
Currently, the plant employs more than 70 people. Also, Sergei said that they created a laboratory where a team of the best manufacturers, graduates of the universities of Lipetsk, Voronezh and St. Petersburg in a group of 15 people works. Seven attended PPG Industries factories in France, Germany and the USA.
It is known that the design capacity of the plant is 20-25 thousand tons of coatings. But, Sergey Parapanov clarifies that the plant can give this amount of material if it works in two shifts.
“If necessary, we can organize the process in three shifts, the results of which will be an increase in production in proportion,” comments Sergey.
The plant operates in four directions: automotive, marine and protective coating, industrial coating and coatings for packaging. The first plant in Russia for the production of liquid varnishes PPG opens today on June 16. The area of the new plant for production is 9 hectares.
