Application of glue ЕК 3000

Foundation preparation
The temperature regime should not go beyond the above range, this applies to the base on which the adhesive is applied, and the material itself. Before starting work, the base should be thoroughly cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, enamel residues and other substances that could adversely affect the adhesion rate.
to contents ↑If there are craters on the base, pits deeper than 5 mm, they must be filled by plastering with a suitable tool. If the base is made of a porous material that absorbs a lot of moisture, it is first primed. It is recommended to use primers with deep penetration like EK GS300 Deep.
Solution preparation
To properly prepare the adhesive, you should accurately measure the amount of water. 25 kg of glue powder will require from 5.75 to 6.75 liters of water, depending on the desired density. The product is poured into water, which is poured into a large container, mixed using a drill with a nozzle, a construction mixer. The glue is ready, as soon as the mass becomes homogeneous, it will not contain lumps.After readiness, it takes another 10 minutes to infuse the agent and swell the particles. Within 4 hours, the mass must be used.

Work with glue
Apply the tool with a special notched trowel. Do not immediately apply glue to large areas of walls or floors - you need to glue the tiles in 15 minutes, so you should measure your capabilities. Plates must be dry before gluing; they must not be wetted. The procedure is as follows:
- attach the tile to the base;
- well press her hands;
- You can change position within 20 minutes;
- immediately after joining adjacent tiles, the inter-tile seam should be cleaned
- the final filling of the joints is done after the completion of work with tiles, and you need to wait until complete drying (16-24 hours);
- if the floor is glued with material, it can be put into operation only after a day, but sparing loads must be observed for another 3 days.
Safety precautions
Cement is present in the powder, so when mixed with water, the mass reaction will be alkaline. If exposed to exposed skin, irritation occurs, this should not be allowed. If the solution splashes into the eyes, they are washed immediately, then you should consult a doctor.
Warranties and storage
The shelf life of the glue before dilution with respect to the integrity of the pack is six months. Storage conditions - dry room, exclude the penetration of moisture into the dry mixture. Transportation is also carried out taking into account the exclusion of high humidity. The product quality, subject to storage recommendations, is guaranteed by the manufacturer; it complies with TU 5745-018-47532402-05.
Types of glue EC
Glue EK 3000 for tiles is available in several varieties. In the absence of the possibility of acquiring targeted funds, they can be replaced with universal adhesive described above.
EC 2000 KERAMIK
Glue EK 2000 is used directly for gluing ceramic tiles of medium, small size on various surfaces. As a base, concrete, brick, mineral materials, plastered surfaces are suitable. The tool is used for external and internal work, with it you can hide small defects in the base (recesses, cracks). The material has a high adhesion index (0.7 MPa), but it is lower than that of universal glue. The product is frost-resistant, plastic, glue powder has small fractions (up to 0.63 mm). You can adjust the position of the tile in 10 minutes, the lifetime of the finished solution is 3 hours.
EK TITAN 4000
It is a means for porcelain stoneware, heavy slabs. EK 4000 glue is suitable for gluing artificial stone, natural stone, slabs with any water absorption on vertical and horizontal surfaces. The latter can be from any material. It is also possible to stick boards made of polystyrene foam and mineral wool with a tool, it is permissible to fill them with tile joints. The adhesion rate is high - 1.2 MPa.
EC 1000 WIDE
EK 1000 glue is a thick-layer composition for laying tiles, blocks. The tool is also used on any surfaces located vertically and horizontally. With its help, blocks, slabs of cellular concrete, aerated concrete, foam concrete, and other porous materials are mounted. On gypsum panels, gypsum concrete, this composition is not applied.
EC 6000 MOZAIK
Glue EK 6000 for mosaics is designed for gluing marble tiles, mosaic tiles, any transparent materials, porcelain tiles. The type of water absorption of the material is unimportant. With this tool, you can close the seams and joints of plates, apply for the installation of underfloor heating, lay tiles on fountains, pools.
EK 5000 Aqua
