Safe disposal of used containers started by Tikkurila partners
Everyone knows that after overhaul remains a huge amount of containers from under construction materials. As a rule, now all the cans and buckets in which paints and varnishes are sold are made of plastic. Also, any of the people knows that the amount of waste plastic in landfills is growing every day, this adversely affects the environment.
GC Mosstroysnab is the official representative of the Finnish company Tikkurila and sells a large amount of paint for major repairs in the Moscow region and in the capital itself. The greatest amount of paint is used from the StroyTEX paint line.
To reduce the volume of plastic in landfills for solid waste, companies have developed a special program. GBU "Zhilishnik" in several districts of the capital of Russia, municipal unitary enterprise for the operation of buildings and structures "Housing economy" of Mytishchi, the managing company PIK-Comfort at each construction site have made places where the collection of used containers takes place.
A representative of the Finnish company will transport the collected containers to the warehouse. Then, when a certain amount of plastic has been collected, the distributor will send it for recycling.
Companies believe that up to 2 tons of plastic will be transferred every month in this way. All the founders of this program understand that they will spend a large amount of money on logistics and plastic processing. If everything happens as planned, then the companies plan to expand the boundaries of the program.
