Plener from Tikkurila in St. Petersburg
The world-famous manufacturer of paints and varnishes - the Finnish brand Tikkurila held an open plener in Northern Palmyra for artists, both professionals and amateurs.
The venue was the Summer Garden - a traditional park for citizens. The theme of the action - “I draw St. Petersburg” - was dedicated to the anniversary of the city, which is traditionally celebrated in late May. Everyone was allowed to the planner, who were able to pre-register at the city hall. This was not easy to do, since only 300 easels and sets of artistic paints were provided (naturally, produced by Tikkurila). You could draw your own views of the city, or copy the works of art masters of the past, which are exhibited in museums in St. Petersburg. For inspiration, some of these paintings were presented directly on the alleys of the Summer Garden.
The planner also held master classes for novice art lovers, where new painting technologies using Tikkurila art paints were demonstrated. The creative event was held to the music of Sergei Prokofiev.
For the youngest participants, holiday sets of paints were prepared, which were solemnly presented by company representatives.
