DEGA Development will complete the construction of a paintwork factory in 2018
In Tula, the final stage of construction of a modern paint and varnish factory is currently underway. The new plant will be commissioned in the territory of the DEGA Tula industrial park in 2018. The joint Russian-German enterprise will begin to produce paints for companies that are engaged in metalworking and products of the military-industrial complex.
The press service of the company "DEGA Development" in its release reports that the main consumers of the plant will be domestic, German and Italian enterprises. Europeans, led by the Italian engineering and manufacturing company Steel Belt System S.r.l., commit themselves to provide modern equipment for the production of paints and varnishes and the latest technologies, comply with technical regulations, ensure the supply of raw materials and the stability of the quality of the paint. The Russian side, in turn, undertakes to develop the project through bank investments and guarantees uninterrupted sales of its products.
The territory of the enterprise will be 4 thousand square meters. m., which will be located 3 production lines. Factory coatings production facilities are designed for 1800–2200 tons of products per year. The total investment is more than 5 million euros.
Since at the moment the Russian Federation does not have the technology for the production of components for powder paint, the entire raw material base will be supplied from EU countries. However, in the future it is planned to build a workshop for the production of polyester resins, which are the basis for the production of powder paints, as well as the production of zinc-containing bridge coatings,
