Omsk "Titan" erects a workshop for the production of phenol-acetone ahead of schedule
GC "Titan" confirmed the information about a significant advance in the schedule of construction work at the subsidiary "Omsk rubber". This applies to specialized production facilities for the production of phenol and acetone. Construction organizations have completely prepared the site, dismantling the old foundation and proceeding to the arrangement of the new. Its construction is scheduled for completion in August this year. The enterprise is fully ready to start work on the construction of reinforced concrete structures for technological equipment.
The press service of the enterprise says that the full completion of this phase of the technical re-equipment and re-equipment of phenol and acetone production is scheduled for the end of the fourth quarter of this year. This project will allow new technology for the production of phenol and acetone using a catalyst such as zeolite. It is able to completely replace aluminum chloride.
Recall that the re-equipment became a necessary measure after the explosion in March 2014 of a column of oil products in a phenolic workshop. The calculated damage amounted to at least 206 million rubles.
Large Russian producers - Omsk Rubber, Ufaorgsintez, Samaraorgsintez and Kazanorgsintez - produce more than 240 thousand tons of phenolic products.
