UTair plans to repaint their aircraft
The Russian airline has planned the repainting of all aircraft. Judging by the information from Interfax, the work should be completed before 2019. The approximate cost of repainting one aircraft will cost at least 50 thousand US dollars. The price is directly proportional to the number of selected colors and can reach the mark of 100 thousand dollars for one liner.
Alina Shcherbinina, who is vice president of marketing for the airline, said that the company paid 4 million rubles to create a new corporate identity for UTair. A change in the company's image should begin this winter, when it was planned to repaint the first UTair airliners.
In addition, UTair is going to acquire new aircraft and update equipment in the fleet. The initial batch was supposed to arrive before the end of 2017, but the purchase was postponed to 2019.
As far as we know, in the company's fleet at the moment there are 74 aircraft. Given the average cost of painting one liner, a full rebranding will cost the company $ 5.5 million.
