Scope "Tektila"
Tectyl Anticorrosion is ideally suited for any wheeled vehicle: both for cars of all classes, as well as for motorcycles, bicycles. It protects exposed elements from corrosion, especially with damaged paintwork, helps restore worn parts. Other areas of application of the compositions:
- patronage of various metal structures and elements (for external and internal works);

Composition and types of "Tectila"
In addition to anti-corrosion additives and zinc, the composition of Tektil includes special substances that reduce noise, vibration, and enhance the body's protection against destruction under the influence of aggressive factors. The instructions for the products indicate that their properties will correspond to those specified only when performing pre-treatment with Tectyl ML GreenLine and subsequent drying. The specified material has deep penetrating ability, therefore it closes cracks, chips and seriously increases the effectiveness of anti-corrosion treatment.

- oils of low viscosity multiple distillation;

- the amount of funds (the larger it is, the cheaper the products will be in terms of 1 liter);

- specific composition - some materials include more expensive components or their greater concentration than others, because their cost is higher.
Preparing the car for anti-corrosion treatment
In order to qualitatively carry out the application of a protective coating, it is necessary to correctly carry out preliminary preparation. It includes such stages:
- Washing the bottom. This body area must be thoroughly washed with warm water, and it is recommended to do this at a high pressure washer. When using Tektila on a dirty surface, the coating will quickly peel off.
- Removing plastic elements. After washing the bottom, you need to remove all the plugs and other elements from the plastic, which will interfere with the anti-corrosion treatment.
- Drying. A heat gun is installed under the bottom, air is blown for 1–2 hours, then all hard-to-reach spots are treated with compressed air from the blow gun. If you do not remove tiny drops of water, the quality of the Tektil coating will greatly decrease.
- Removing wheels and closing important components. The wheels are removed only after the final drying of the body. Then the brake discs, pads, muffler are covered with a film, which will avoid pollution. It is also advisable to cover the steering wheel and seats in the cabin.
Equipment and tools
To carry out anticorrosion treatment, they acquire the right tool from the Tektil line, as well as a number of tools and devices:
- high pressure pump for bottom treatment (for supplying anticorrosive and air);
- low pressure pump for processing complex areas and hidden cavities;

After completing the preparatory phase, you can begin the main work. At first, Tectil should be sprayed onto hard-to-reach areas using a hook nozzle and a flexible nozzle.Next, the machine must be positioned at a suitable height in order to work comfortably, and put anticorrosive on the wheel arches using a high-pressure pump and a sprayer from a distance of 30–35 cm. Finally, the bottom is processed by spraying with overlapping strips, overlapping them by 5–10 cm. After you do the following:
- with a flexible nozzle spray “Tektil” into the hidden areas of the hood, trunk;
- remove the film covering important elements;
- set the wheels in place, all plastic parts;
- clean excess anticorrosive with any solvent.
