Purpose and use
The soil was developed in accordance with TU 6-21-51-90 to protect metal and reinforced concrete from alkalis, acids, gases, salt solutions and atmospheric influences (high humidity, fog, rain, snow). Primer XC-010 provides long-term protection; application on concrete is allowed.
Main areas of use:
- Production. Corrosion protection of machines, various mechanisms, metal shelving, trolleys.
- Road construction. Priming lighting masts along roads, bridge piers and various elements of vertical road marking.
- Construction of houses. Protection of metal structures and elements (reinforcement, frames, flooring, roofing, fencing).
- Housing. Covering metal window tides, water and heating pipes, gas pipelines, playgrounds, front gardens.
- ONE HUNDRED. Processing guides in inspection pits, lifts, racks, preparation of car trailers for painting.
- Industrial application. Preparation for painting, corrosion protection of equipment and metal structures, which are exposed to various aggressive environments and mechanical stresses.
LMC properties
Soil XC-010 is a one-component material, it is based on vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride (vinylidene chloride). Being in the production tank, it has a pungent odor, which, after application to the surface to be treated, disappears during drying.
XC-010 is used in combination with XC-75U enamel, which is applied in 2 layers (XC and XB grades are acceptable), and XC-76 varnish (applied in 1 coat). The complex coating has a thickness of 85-110 microns. For dilution, solvents of the R-4, R-4A brand are used. Paintwork is accompanied by a certificate of conformity, to which the hygienic conclusion of the center of state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance (TsGSEN) is necessarily attached.

Advantages
The main purpose of the XC-010 soil is to protect metals and reinforced concrete from corrosion. Thanks to the acid included in the primer, the coating can be applied to metal surfaces with small spots of rust without preliminary cleaning.

The rules for applying a complex polymer coating
According to GOST 9355 81, the primer XC-010 is coated using pneumatic sprayers or airless guns. Work Stages:
- Clean the surface of the remnants of old paint and degrease it.
- Open the container with the primer and mix it with a drill with a mixer tip.
- Fill the sprayer and apply the first coat of soil to the prepared surface.
- After 60 minutes, apply a second coat of HS-010.
- After another hour, apply enamel in 2 layers with an interval of drying for 1-2 hours at an air temperature of +20 ° C (the manufacturer recommends the use of enamels with indexes ХС, ХЧ, ХВ).
- After the enamel has completely dried, apply XC-76 varnish in 1 coat.
It is unacceptable to carry out work during rain, snow, or other atmospheric precipitation. It is also contraindicated to apply the soil to wet or icy surfaces.
The primer is sprayed outdoors or in a room with good ventilation. Permissible temperatures for work: -10 - +30 ° C. The air humidity should not exceed 80%. To avoid accumulation of condensate on the treated surface, it is necessary that its temperature be at least 3 ° C above the dew point.
Initially, the HS-010 primer was developed for professional use in the production environment, so packaging from 20 to 200 liters is mainly found. Due to the high quality at an affordable price, the product began to be in demand in the domestic sphere, therefore, the production of a primer was established in containers of 1, 2.5 and 10 liters. The color of the HS-010 primer for domestic use can be either red-brown or gray.

Precautionary measures
In a liquid state, the primer is flammable, its vapors are toxic. Storage and work using paintwork materials near the fire is not allowed. Surface treatment with HS-010 primer should be carried out in protective equipment (respirator, goggles and gloves). Good ventilation must be provided. Upon completion of work, the room must be carefully ventilated.
Important! If the primer accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse them well with running water and seek qualified medical help immediately.
Keep XC-010 in a dark, dry place inaccessible to children. Subject to storage conditions, the XC-010 soil retains its original characteristics for up to 1 year.
