Cars from Peugeot and Citroen will be painted with BASF products
In the second half of this year, the paint and varnish products of the West German company BASF will be used for painting car bodies manufactured by the Italian company Peugeot Citroen. The corresponding agreement was signed by the authorized representatives of both companies in Italian Turin.
The choice of a new partner for cooperation was not accidental, since BASF has centenary experience in preparing paint components specifically for use in the automotive industry. Oliver Birk, representative of the European customer service department of the company, noted that the company's products can also be used in the network of repair service stations, since BASF varnishes and paints are technological in application and do not pose environmental threats to consumers.
For their part, representatives of Peugeot Citroen noted that the technical parameters of BASF products are fully consistent with their product distribution system.
According to the technical management of Peugeot Citroen, their choice is also dictated by the high quality of training of the production personnel of the painting industries in the basics of the technology of using BASF products, as well as the high quality of the technological equipment used for painting cars.
