Technical Committee 195 "Materials and coatings for paints and varnishes" was created in Russia
In September of this year, an order was issued by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, which stated the need to open the Technical Committee 195. As a result, the committee was created and its manager was Gennady Averyanov, director of Tsentrlak. When drafting the Technical Committee for Standardization, a number of companies and associations will represent the interests of the paintwork industry.
In addition to paints and varnishes, TC also includes products for plastic packaging, as well as barrels and other similar containers of four metals. The process of creating and supplying paintwork materials (packaging, product packaging and labeling, as well as storage and transportation methods) will be managed by one of the working groups of the committee. In total, the Technical Committee includes 8 working groups and 2 subcommittees.
The committee will participate not only in standardization of some requirements for paintwork materials, its testing and compilation of terminology. It will also be included in the work of the international TC ISO / TK35 “Paints and varnishes”.
Along with the formation of this committee, as many as three orders to establish sectoral technical committees lost their strength.
